Opportunities to exhibit your art

The Society hosts several exhibition events during the year in the Gallery. Every member will have the opportunity to exhibit or learn how to exhibit his / her artwork.

All members under 80 years must do 1 day/month duty minding the Gallery to keep it open.

Opening Hours:
9am to 3pm Weekdays
9am to 2pm Weekends

We Meet Monthly

The Society’s meetings are held on the first Monday of the month. 2pm May to October. 5.30pm November to April. If that falls on a public holiday, then the meeting will be held on the following Monday. Non-members are welcome to attend.

You must attend 3 meetings per year to Exhibit and Vote.

We have a fantastic knowledgeable teacher who drives 50km to do classes. Every one is so encouraging. The Gallery changes regularly too.

Part of heritage area that is totally amazing and everyone should visit. The Art Society is in the old police accommodation. On sites you can see artists in action and the woman making the glass beads is awesome.

Small pieces of local art and gifted art works, very friendly people whom took the time to say hello.
Also some hand made timber craft work.

Wandered down to the back where art was being made, displayed and sold. Learnt of workshops being run. Beautiful handmade products. Glass studio, ceramics, with cards and gifts ready for purchase.
